Green Thumb Club

By bhadmin on August 14, 2012

All Landlovers activities and events have been suspended for the remainder of the fiscal year ending 5/31.

When: Wednesday, April 1, 2020, 9:30-11:30.
Where: Messiah Lutheran Church
How Much: Annual Club dues are $25 individual or $30 family, guests are $5. Must be a Landlovers member
What Else: Shannon Browning-Mullis, Telfair Museum Curator of History and Decorative Arts, will give us insights into William Jay’s architectural career in Savannah. She is the chief planner and installer of the exhibit “200 Years of William Jay” and was a lead in researching and opening the permanent exhibit of the history of enslaved persons within the Owens-Thomas House. The three intact William Jay buildings in Savannah are the Telfair Mansion, the Owens-Thomas House, and the Scarborough House, now housing the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum.

Green Thumb Club focuses on gardening, wildlife, and the Georgia coastal lifestyle. Our monthly meetings begin with coffee and socializing, followed by our featured speaker. Be environmentally friendly; bring your own coffee cup.
