What: The awards ceremony is held to honor the winners of Landlovers Grants, Scholarships and Community Service Merit Awards. Landlovers is proud to be able to distribute funds which have been raised throughout the year to so many worthy causes and individuals. Since 1974 we have distributed over $1.5 million to a wide variety of non-profit and service organizations, academic scholarships to Landing Association and Landings Company employees and their families and Community Service Merit Awards to high school seniors. They handle more than just furniture, they also take rugs, household items, jewelry, collectibles, appliances, cars, motorcycles, boats and more. Make your donations now!
Just contact the email below and we will put you in touch with a local auctioneer, who will come to your home and collect those unwanted items and haul them away. All proceeds collected from these items at their weekly auction will benefit the Landlovers Foundation! A win/win for all! We can provide donation receipts at the time of pickup.
What: Annual Games Day & Buffet Lunch
When: Friday, January 20, 2023 9am-4pm
Where: Palmetto Ballroom Cost: $ 60 per player for a full day of play and buffet lunch. You must register individually and Landlovers membership is required to participate, but NOT Landings Club membership. What Else: All Landlovers members who play bridge, canasta, mahjong, poker, scrabble, and dominoes are welcome…men and women! Couples bridge players are welcome, too. Games will be played at tables of four, so form your groups early. Playing begins whenever your table is ready. Take a break from playing to enjoy the Salmon and Chicken buffet lunch at 11:30. Form your groups now and choose your table captain! While each person must register individually, your group of four must already be formed prior to registering and you must provide the names of those in your group when registering. Games will be played at tables of four. Mexican Dominos can have tables of 4 or 8. Table Captains are responsible for bringing and removing your game equipment. Bridge will be in the Azalea Room. Landings Club membership is not required.
All Games Day proceeds will benefit the Landlovers Foundation which provides scholarships and grants to worthy individuals and local organizations.
Pre-Purchase Tickets for the 50/50 Raffle and 4 Grand Prizes: 50/50 tickets are $ 5 each and Grand Prize tickets are $ 15 each. The Grand Prizes are 2 Gold Literati tickets for the Savannah Book Festival, Dinner for 8 at Palmers Steakhouse or a free round of golf for 4 at any Landings Club Course. A 4th Grand Prize, The Landings Woman, has just been added! It is a $1000+ gift basket with items and experiences, such as a massage, facial, hair styling, Telfair membership and much more. Drawings will be held on Games Day, Friday, January 20, 2023 at Palmetto Clubhouse Ballroom. Winners will be notified and do not have to be present to win. Tickets will also be available on Games Day in the Palmetto Ballroom Lobby. On-line ticket sales will end January 19,2023. Cancellations and raffle ticket purchases are non-refundable.

We need your slightly used items, in good condition! We’ll take most items from around your home: art, electronics, small appliances, collectibles, indoor and outdoor furniture, sporting goods and tools, linens, lamps, home decor items, kitchen items, toys, kid’s clothes, luggage and handbags and garden equipment. Don’t forget jewelry!! New this year: Salvation Army will have a drop box available to accept clean, usable clothing! When: Tuesday, March 14, 2023 5-7pm Where: Palmetto Club Ballroom What Else: Auctionmania is our annual silent auction where we sell unique and higher-end items collected during Flea Market intake. All Landlovers members, Landings residents, and their guests are welcome to attend. The auction will be conducted via your Smartphone. It’s easy to bid and you can track bidding activity on your favorite items from anywhere; you don’t need to be present to bid. Once the auction closes, you’ll be able to view what you won on your phone. You can self-checkout on your smartphone if you have entered your credit card info in the bidding website, or you can proceed to a cashier. If you choose to self-checkout on your smartphone, you can bypass the lines and proceed to the auction table to pick up the items you won. Just show the paid receipt on your phone to the Table Monitor.
AUCTION DETAILS: The Auction will close at 7 PM. All tables close at the same time. You must pick up the items you won the night of the auction before 7:15 PM. Payment by credit card is encouraged but check or cash will be accepted. We will be using bidpal, which a safe and secure site. Please bring your charged smartphone the night of the event.
