What: Ramble to Fort McAllister State Park in Richmond Hill
When: Wednesday, October 18, 2023
Where: Meet in the parking lot of the Methodist Church at 9:30 am
Cost: Parking is free with a Georgia Parks pass or per car. Entry to the Fort is ( senior) per person.  Payment will be collected upon arrival at Fort McAllister.
What Else:  Join us in visiting the Civil War Fort McAllister State Park in Richmond Hill followed by lunch at Uptown Deli.  The Fort marks the end of Sherman’s March to the Sea and is the best-preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy.  We will meet at the Methodist Church at 9:30, park at the visitor center of the State Park, view the excellent introductory video, and then walk the site which is well-maintained.  The Deli offers delicious hot and cold sandwiches and rapid service.

Due to Insurance Liability, Landlovers can no longer suggest, encourage or arrange any carpooling to Events or Activities.  Attendees can meet at the Church or wherever they wish and make their own  transportation arrangements.
