When: Nov. 15, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 21
Where: Bailey Hall, SI United Methodist Church, 3:45 pm
What Else: Our assignment is to photograph an egg. This assignment was given about 8 years ago and I’m told there were some very creative submissions, so let’s have fun with it! Any egg, any condition, any setting, lighting, perspective, motion, message, context etc. Email your best egg photo to firstname.lastname@example.org by NOV. 7. We’ll view them at our next meeting: Nov. 15. And here’s a great PHOTO OP: Georgia Southern’s Wildlife Education Center Raptors and Reptiles Show will be at The Landings Saturday, Oct. 29. All are welcome to come get up-close looks at majestic hawks, tiny owls and the Georgia Southern mascot, Freedom the bald eagle, as well as a variety of reptiles. The event starts at 1 p.m. at The Landings Athletic Field, 600 Landings Way. This opportunity to view and learn about local birds of prey and other wildlife is presented by Skidaway Audubon. There is no fee for this event. Cameras are permitted, but pets and food are prohibited.
