Foodie Book Clubs are being formed all over Skidaway Island.  Join us!  We read anything that has to do with food: fiction and non-fiction; history, essay, memoirs, humor, anthologies, and novels. Some groups meet in the day time, some in the evening.  Some meet monthly, some bi-monthly.

We are learning how to create delicious dishes using fresh, local, seasonal, and organic foods free of processed and refined ingredients.  We meal plan, cook, eat, and review meals together for 2 months.  On the 3^rd month we all meet together and change groups.

Attention all Singles!  Ladies and Gents, if you are widowed, divorced or single you are invited to join Landlovers Social Singles.  We have parties, dinners, picnics and adventures together. Perhaps we'll attend a play, a concert, or take a boat ride.

This club is open to Landlovers members and their spouses.  Either the member or their spouse must have been born or raised outside of the United States.  The group usually meets the first Saturday of each month from October through May. 

Please join us for the last meeting of the year at The Landings Association Multipurpose Room on Wednesday, May 16th from 6 to 8 p.m.

Train Lovers brings together Landlovers who are interested in collecting and operating model trains of all makes and eras as well as those interested in constructing model railroad layouts in any scale.  We share ideas, promote the hobby and serve as a source of advice and help for newcomers to the hobby.

Sing Along consists of a group of men and women who enjoy getting together and singing just for the fun of it, accompanied by our piano/ guitar duo.  We meet in a member’s home the second Tuesday of each month, October through May.    

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, April, 10 at the home of Carol Medinger, 2 Whitetail Lande, at 7:30.The program will be oldies but Goodies, including hits from the 20's, 30's, and 40's.  Call Marcia Johnson at 598.5200.

If you are interested in learning to play Canasta, there will be a beginner class starting on Monday, January 9. Our spring cocktail party ending the season will be Friday, May 11^th.  We will be enjoying the hospitality of Barbara and Scott Walton.  RSVP to Jane Burns at vinyod@aol.com.  We'll provide drinks, paper products and utensils.  We're asking each of you to bring an appetizer.  We've had a fun year, meeting and enjoying new friends.
