Enthusiasts of all levels should be able to find one or more regular games to suit their interests. Some of the groups are established in the fall for the year while others are open throughout the year. Subs are always needed! Contact the individual chair for more information.
Landlovers members may participate in any of these groups (assuming there is room) even if you are not a club member. Non-members, however, are limited to once a month play if the group meets at a club.
Swiss Pairs Bridge: This popular Dinner/Bridge format includes dining, followed by three rounds of duplicate style bridge against other teams. You and your partner may sign up ONLY at the opening reception. Selection will be by lottery if more than 24 teams sign up. Those not selected in the lottery are guaranteed a spot for the following year. They are also placed on the sub list and we always have a demand for subs! The group meets promptly at 5:15 in the Plantation Club ballroom on the first Wednesday of each month. To be eligible to play, each player must be a Landlovers member and must provide the following at sign-up: player and partner names, e-mail addresses, club numbers, phone numbers, and a check payable to Landlovers for $10 ($20 per team). If you cannot attend the opening reception, someone else may sign up for you if they have all your necessary information. We look forward to another great year – hope you will join us! Questions? Bridging the Gap: This activity is for women who enjoy social bridge. Level of play is from advanced beginner to intermediate. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 1 pm. Our next meeting will be June 13 at Oakridge Club. We will be taking the summer off and will not be meeting in July or August. All participants must be members of Landlovers, and since we meet at the Club, non-club members must follow the Landings Club’s guest policy. Due to limited space, sign up is required.
